pursuant to Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU 2016/679) and the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003)

With this privacy policy, the Data Controller informs you about how your personal data is processed during the booking and execution of the guided scooter tour.

2. Purpose of Data Processing & Legal Basis

We process your personal data (first name, last name, address, date of birth, driver's license details, e-mail address, phone number, payment details, and potentially photos and videos) for the following purposes:

  • Performance of a Contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR): For booking, managing, and conducting the tour, renting the scooters, and contacting you regarding urgent updates (e.g., cancellation due to bad weather).

  • Compliance with a Legal Obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR): For compliance with Italian tax, accounting, and insurance regulations.

  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR): For protecting our legal rights and handling insurance claims or disputes in the event of damage.

  • Voluntary Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR): For taking photos and videos during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g., publication on social media channels, website, flyers). This processing only occurs if you grant your separate consent at the end of this document.

3. Sharing of Data (Recipients)

Your data will be treated with strict confidentiality. It will only be shared with third parties if necessary for the purposes mentioned above, specifically with:

  • The vehicle insurance company in the event of an accident or damage.

  • Our accountant (Commercialista) and the competent Italian authorities (Agenzia delle Entrate) for tax compliance.

  • The general public / internet users, if you have consented to the publication of photos and videos online or on social media.

4. Data Retention Period

  • Contractual data relevant for tax and accounting purposes will be stored for 10 years, in compliance with Italian legal retention obligations (Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).

  • Photos and videos processed based on your consent will be stored for as long as the promotional material remains online or in use, or until you exercise your right to withdraw your consent.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of your personal data at any time. You can withdraw your consent for photos and videos at any time with future effect.

To exercise these rights, please send an e-mail to the Data Controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, www.garanteprivacy.it).

Customer Declaration of Consent

I confirm that I have read and understood the general privacy policy. I consent to the processing of my data for the purposes of contract performance and legal obligations.

Additional Consent for Photo and Video Recording (Voluntary):

This material may be published for promotional purposes on the provider's website, in flyers, and on social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook). I am aware that I can withdraw this consent at any time by sending an e-mail.
